Every fall, my dear friend Ruth would ask me if I planned to visit Hocking Hills. My job as school secretary and my husband’s football officiating career precluded autumn travel. When we were finally available to make the trip . . . I told Ruth to “Check your calendar . . . We are going to Laurelville!”
We spent a delightful day with Ruth and our special friend, Betty, as we revisited Ruth’s roots and toured her family’s orchard and apple and cider store. Comments
